Saint Oyen spreads across the Artanavaz river valley, from the Barasson mountain pass, towards Switzerland, to the Flassin glen,
on the opposite side. The municipal territory, in spite of occupying just two kilometres of the bed of the valley, has a considerable
quantity of altitudes, surroundings and exposures. Since the course from the West to the East, the northern Saint Oyen territory is
exposed to the southerly sun of “adret”, which has helped the agriculture exploitation, now oriented to the forage production.
